Rental Market Overview and Transaction Flow

　There are many condominiums and houses for rent in Malaysia. Compared to some countries, rental prices are low, rooms are spacious, and many are fully equipped with swimming pools, gyms, and other amenities. If your goal is for your own stay, we recommend renting a house. (We think the earlier you invest, the better).

　The difference between Malaysia and other countries is that there are almost no whole buildings for rent in Malaysia. Most units are leased from individual owners. Therefore, even in the same condominium, the interior design of the rooms and the rental status are often completely different.

　The length of rental contracts is usually 1-2 years, with a very limited number of short-term rentals (1-3 months). For short term rentals, we recommend the serviced apartments, which are apartment-style hotels.
